Before any proper and accurate diagnoses can be given for any underground pipe repair or pipe rehabilitation work, it imperative for our operator to conduct an internal inspection and survey, to verify not only the internal condition of the pipework but to also to inspect the integrity of the jointing system and spigot point areas which can otherwise easily be missed or overlooked. Such ‘hidden’ seems and joints can cause ground pollution and infiltrate into underground water sources.

It is also important to ensure that any drainage system has the internal correct gradient and fall (As Per SANS 10400 Regulation Part P) in order that a conventional gravitational sewerage or storm water system flows correctly and within its parameters of flow rate. Root intrusion is another general cause of pipe penetration, blockages and aggravated damages amongst others which can be viewed and point calculated for pin point repair accuracy.

Via our pipe camera inspections, we are also able to test the percent severity of problematic area and be able to give you a balanced view of extent of repairs required in each/every situation.

Our cctv pipe inspections is also able to record compromised areas of a drainage system and by all information collected we are then able to draft technical reports to motivate the required repairs, whether it be a sectional repair or an entire reline or re-route.
